Vertical Takeoff Vertical Landing (VTVL)

Booster recovery technique where the first stage returns to a landing pad and decelerates using retro-propulsion for a propulsive vertical landing. Pioneered by SpaceX and Blue Origin; now being adopted by Chinese commercial launchers (LandSpace ZQ-3, iSpace H-3, Deep Blue Aerospace).
