Tiny Dutch startup just raised money to build space materials that are 4x lighter than metal
Arceon closes a seed round from Tenzing Alpha to scale production of Carbeon ceramic matrix composites for aerospace and defense. The Haarlem-based VC is also considering a follow-on. Arceon's materials are 25% lighter than aluminium and withstand temperatures above 1,500°C.
