IonQ finalizes the Skyloom acquisition on January 28, 2026. Skyloom's V'ger OCT and Scotty satellite user terminal become the optical transport layer for IonQ's distributed quantum entanglement roadmap. Skyloom CEO Marc Eisenberg leads the new IonQ Quantum Infrastructure subsidiary.
