Space Angel signs five-year MoU with Inbound Aerospace for re-entry testing and recovery

Space Angel Group and IIT Madras-incubated Inbound Aerospace agreed a five-year framework for testing and demonstrating Inbound’s autonomous recoverable re-entry vehicles using Space Angel’s planned spaceport, test-range, runway and recovery infrastructure in Australia. The companies will also explore joint technology development, pilot missions and bilateral R&D funding. The MoU was signed at the 9th Bengaluru Space Expo.

Space Angel awarded $1.75M matched WA Spaceport Establishment Support Grant

Space Angel Pty Ltd was selected through an open competitive process as the sole recipient of Western Australia’s $1.75 million Spaceport Establishment Support Grant. The matched funding supports site assessments, planning and regulatory approvals, and a business case for the company’s proposed dual-corridor Australis spaceports (Nullarbor/Eucla region and Christmas Island). The grant forms part of the state government’s $2 million Made in WA election commitment; a parallel government feasibility study into other WA spaceport sites continues.
