About

Designs and manufactures constellation-ready satellites plus critical onboard components on a modular production system aimed at high-volume delivery.

Parallax Space builds constellation-oriented satellites and the subsystems that go into them. Its stack covers optical payloads, communications, onboard GPU compute, navigation and GNC, security and propulsion under the SATSTACK name; SATFACTORY is the modular production approach intended to turn assembly into repeatable manufacturing; PARALLAX LIST is the software layer meant to link design through launch integration.

The company states it flew dual Parallel2 spacecraft on SpaceX Transporter-17 in July 2026 (restricted mission) and again on Transporter-18 in October 2026 (commercial communications constellation test). It reports five launches booked overall and targets an initial Denver production hub for 2027, subject to financing. Customer-funded early work is claimed without institutional capital in the first operating year; a Form D filed in late 2026 shows a $7.5 million equity offering with $250k reported sold.

Parallax Space, Inc. was formed in 2026 (Delaware entity with Colorado foreign qualification). Co-founders are Thomas Salzman (CEO; prior spacecraft roles at Millennium Space Systems, Rocket Lab Photon and Apex) and Rory Hofstatter (COO; prior operating roles at Millennium Space Systems and Northrop Grumman). Headquarters are listed in Denver, Colorado. The firm is hiring across engineering, finance, legal and marketing roles in Denver and Redondo Beach.
