About
Kongsberg Satellite Services runs one of the largest commercial ground networks for satellites and launch vehicles, with more than 25 sites. Its polar stations at Svalbard (SvalSat) and Troll in Antarctica see polar-orbiting satellites on nearly every pass. KSAT also sells near-real-time Earth observation services, notably maritime oil-spill and vessel detection.
KSAT is headquartered in Tromsø, Norway, and owned by Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace and Space Norway.
