About
Enpulsion builds electric propulsion for small satellites based on field emission electric propulsion (FEEP): liquid-metal indium is ionised and accelerated by an electric field, giving very fine, efficient thrust from a compact, unpressurised unit. Its IFM Nano and Micro thrusters are flight-proven, with more than 280 units in orbit.
The company spun out of the Austrian research center FOTEC in 2016 and is based in Wiener Neustadt, Austria.
