About
D-Orbit runs ION, an orbital transfer vehicle that launches on SpaceX rideshare missions carrying many small satellites, then releases each one into its own orbit and hosts payloads that stay aboard. ION has flown more than a dozen missions since 2020.
The company is building toward in-orbit servicing, refueling and orbital data processing.
D-Orbit was founded in 2011 by Luca Rossettini and Renato Panesi and is headquartered in Fino Mornasco, Italy, with offices in Portugal, the UK and the US.
