About
Agile Space Industries designs, additively manufactures and hot-fire tests chemical in-space propulsion (monopropellant and bipropellant thrusters, engines and propellant tanks) using hydrazine-family propellants. Products include the A110 ACS thruster (delivered for Astrobotic’s Griffin lander on the NASA VIPER mission) and larger bipropellant units such as the DS250.
Customers and programs include NASA, the Department of Defense, Lockheed Martin, Astrobotic, Sierra Space, The Exploration Company (Nyx capsule) and multiple lunar lander efforts. The company has conducted more than 8,000 hot-fire tests and operates facilities in Colorado, Pennsylvania, Oklahoma and Washington state.
It grew out of Advanced Mobile Propulsion Test (founded 2009 by Daudi Barnes) and was incorporated as Agile Space Industries in 2019 after acquiring the predecessor. Headquarters are in Durango, Colorado; headcount is approximately 175–180.
